I wish to take the time to thank you for everything you’ve done for my children. I know that working with all those children can be a handful and it got me thinking.
If our children were not in school, where would they be? And who would help prepare them for the future? Would I have the time? Two children at home sometimes can be a handful, how about 30 of them?
I’m human and make mistakes. Are we as perfect as we expect teachers to be?
When was the last time I showed appreciation to the teacher for helping my child? Or just said a simple thanks?
Have you ever noticed what we teach our children is reinforced by teachers?
Would I have what it takes to be a good teacher? It takes a special kind of person, and I appreciate their patience and commitment.
When your child asks for help in math, (you try, but also do not understand) that’s when we really count on our teachers.
Understanding the individual needs (emotional, developmental, etc) of my children is sometimes difficult, how about a classroom full?
How often do I stay after work and volunteer my time to help others? Teachers choose to coach kids and build lasting relationships. Thanks!
When children are faced with tough choices with others on the playground or in the classroom, it is comforting to know they have the guidance of their teachers.
I also realize that life is filled with challenges for all of us and by no means do I say that anyone has it better or worse than others.
I’m just saying “Thanks”.
